Yet they still want to blame Bush for the high prices and have blocked every measure to reduce prices.. Go figure... Because the republicans are the ones being blamed for it, keep voters thinking it's all on the republican party, and it helps the Dems come election time. Took place in March of 2000, when Bush had been in office for 2 months. The article discusses how gas is at $1.54. Which is 1 1/2 times what you posted. It also discusses how gas prices over a 12 month period had seen the biggest increases in gas prices in over 30 years. Yet Bush was only in office for two months at the time of this article...... Hmmm funny numbers. Also I'd be happy to point out that this is not a foxnews article. Rather it's a CNN article, hmmm this post is fun.:lol::fire:
