It's got to be Scooby-Doo. He'd find the WMD's, he has a close-knit group of intelligent advisors (although Shaggy's Red Herring would probably be Iran), and we could elect his nephew Scrappy in a few years.

Great setup, and a very tight team that's worked together for years, and solved some real mysteries.

 

One other bonus, AF1 can be retired. The Mystery Machine RULES!

Prime is far more electable than a stoner-hippie like Scooby-Do, besides Prime would fare much better in debates and with the stresses of running a country. I think Prime represents a true middle ground.

As far as I see we have two characters already running:

 

Skeletor (McCain) and Kermit The Frog (Obama).

 

Skeletor/McCain- Very little substance (meat on his bones) and plus he's old and as near death as a candidate can be. He gets very angry and is always looking to start a fight.

 

Kermit/Obama- Because everyone loves him because he is on tv so much, but in actuality his words, thoughts, actions, and beliefs are someone else's who are pulling his strings. He would never, ever, ever think of fighting and instead would rather let someone walk on him.

I went with He-Man to likely have Sheera as the first lady wouldn't be too bad.
