So much for open-mindedness. Even when Obama prays, you criticize and accuse him - without any proof - of wrongdoing. If that doesn't give you any pause, then, there is little chance that he could do anything that you wouldn't criticize him over.

I accused Obama of no such thing. I said that I do not believe that his organization is above doing such a thing.

 

I believe that Obama's political agenda is a very dangerous one for this country. I also believe that as I predicted months ago, Obama has shifted his rhetoric to the right to entice moderates and independents to vote for him in November. His true ideology is much more radical than his current stump speech indicates.

 

I have not noticed Obama supporters praising the policies of John McCain or George W. Bush with which they disagree. Why do the Obamacons have so much difficulty with conservatives criticizing Obama on his positions on issues and his campaign tactics? It is like me expecting liberals not to criticize Dick Cheney. (I make my own decisions on political candidates and elected representatives, having become resistant to peer pressure decades ago.)

There is nothing that Obama's staff is above politicizing. Obama canceled a planned visit to the troops on his trip because the military would not allow the visit to be made into a campaign event.

If he had simply left his entourage behind, agreed to follow long-standing miliatry policy, and not used the visit to the injured troops as a photo-op, then I do not see where his critics would have had anything to criticize. Instead, Obama's actions only added to the perception that everything he does is a campaign stunt.

 

McCain's many visits to Iraq and Afghanistan have received very little media coverage. Obama just seems unwilling to play by the same set of rules.

It is Senator Obama running for President of the world but Senator McCain, who made the same trip, isn't getting accused of that. The bottom line is that the mainstream media is acting very unprofessionally in transparently promoting Barack Obama's candidacy. The media is extremely liberal and they are providing a disproportionate measure of free publicity to an extremely liberal candidate.

I dont think they are truly doing this. As NWO said, this is a rare election situation we have going on currently. A African-American is close to becoming the leader of the free world. I think that deserves a little extra media coverage. The media in the past has shown me how a old, bald, white guy runs a campaign; I want to see a different angle and approach.

The media has a responsibility to inform the electorate during a campaign - not to give one candidate free positive publicity and cheerlead.
