July 25, 200818 yr To me Illinois might not be that much of a sleeper, but watch out for Juice and the Illini. Anyone else?
July 25, 200818 yr What does the Michigan St QB situation look like? Senior, Brian Hoyer (6-2/212, Sr.), will be the returning starter for the Spartans. Hoyer Listed Among Top Preseason Candidates For Unitas Golden Arm Award http://msuspartans.cstv.com/sports/m-footbl/spec-rel/062808aac.html

For some reason I thought that Staton was there last year.
July 25, 200818 yr Notre Dame will surprise people this year. Much better then last year... Well they cant really get much worse than last season.
July 26, 200818 yr Notre Dame will surprise people this year. Much better then last year... They sure should with what seems like top recruiting class, after top recruiting class.
July 26, 200818 yr They sure should with what seems like top recruiting class, after top recruiting class. Yes this senior class is Ty's last recruiting class. This incoming class of freshman is very impressive. Golden boy Jimmy Clausen has buffed up and had a healthy off-season to work with CW. I think he will have a break out year.
July 28, 200818 yr Virginia Tech will be one to watch out for. Had some injury problems last year, and was still trying to find the right mix on offense. They lost a lot from last year, basically all their WR's, their line backing, full back, well lets just say they lost a lot!!! Thus, they seem to be counted out already for the upcoming season. However, if the QB situation gets worked out, and say Tyrod Taylor is the starter over Glennon (who I personally feel will always just be an average NCAA qb), I think the Hokies will far surpass expectations and perhaps even win the ACC, getting them into a BCS game. Beamer is one of the finest coaches in the game, and VT will always be putting great athletes on the field (regardless of experience), thus making them very unpredictable, but with everyone counting them out I say don't sleep on this sleeper in 2008. :thumb:
