The actor Guy Madison was Wild Bill Hickock on the TV show of the same name when I was a kid , and Guy Williams played Zorro on Walt Disney's Wonderful World of Color in the same era. There was also the Bandleader Guy Lombardo .

Comedian Henry Cho tells about a friend whose parents had named him J.B. Smith. The J.B. didn't mean anything, just initials. When J.B. reached the age to get his first driver's license he filled out the form "J. only, B. only" to avoid confusion.

 

Of course, this being the DMV, his drivers license (and new permanent nickname) came back Jonly Bonly Smith.
