July 22, 200818 yr I heard it and imo it is a USC grad and former Trojan standout talking trash about OSU and that game in September. Nothing major to it, NFL players do it all the time with thier alma maters. I am an Ohio State football fan and CP's staements didn't phase me at all. I laughed at how quick it went on the lips of every espn anchor/reporter in the espn network. I do find it kind of ironic that he was talking about an Ohio team (OSU) and their fan base when he is the QB of an Ohio NFL team(well, that's debatable as well ) that has some of those same OSU fans that he was trashing in the Bengals fan base......maybe not now with some of them. I think that I am safe in saying that there are probably far more OSU Buckeye fans in Ohio than Bengal fans. JMO but not the best of ideas to anger a Ohio fan base when you play in Ohio. Maybe CP should worry about his own teams failures on and off the field before he calls out the most popular team in the state.:sssh: :lol: College football, ya gotta love it!!

I actually loved the Appy State opener last season, who was that they beat again?..........and in their house. I guess that they ran out of 1AA batteries.

Maybe Carson was just having fun talking some smack with him being a USC star, having some fun with it. Nothing more, nothing less and the OSU haters are jumping all over it . That fact is what is hilarious.:lol: School pride, he showed it. Even though I'm sure it rubbed some OSU/Bengals fans the wrong way, but they need to get over it. Just because he lives in the state doesn't mean he has to be a supporter of every school or even like them for that matter. :thumb::thumb: Absolutely. Like I said in an earlier post, may not have been the smartest thing to say when you play for an Ohio team with some of the same fans but it really is no big deal. At least not to me.

And, FWIW, from my experience, it seems that very few people from Cincinnati are OSU fans, I'm not sure why.
