July 16, 200818 yr Did anyone actually believe that we thought that the "real" crime labs worked like CSI? You would be surprised. As sad as that sounds...you are right. When someone can sue a company for not putting "caution hot" on their coffee cups...and win...but that's another time.
July 16, 200818 yr I prefer Forensic Files, Cold Case Files or American Justice over the 28 CSI shows that are on now. As someone said above, as sad and depressing as it is, it's not a surprise that there are people in this country who watch the show like it's a documentary.

July 16, 200818 yr Upside of CSI is that its gotta stop a few criminals who think its impossible to get away with any crime. I'd say it's also given alot more people interest in it as a career option. Sure it'll likely drag in some idiots, but it'll also likely bring in some really sharp minds into the criminal justice field that may not have. All in all I'd say the show in entertaining. Realistic, yeh sure, they base there idea's off of technologies and procedures that somewhat exist.
July 16, 200818 yr Well if someone kills me in my sleep...I want the people on CSI and that little redheaded guy on Miami CSI to come investigate. Horatio should be available, I think, because I know I've heard him say "We never close..." lol I honestly love his one liners. They're not horrible, but yet they are. I think comedians could do so much with just his dialogue from the show. BTW, if you're awake when they kill you, would you prefer one of the detectives from Vegas, or New York. Also you aren't ex military are you? If so we could get one of the guys from NCIS maybe.
