Just read the Ledger on-line and there was a article in the sports section announcing the new asst. so guess it is a done deal after all.

In fact, I believe the last two assistant coaches that Mason County had that had sons that played was back in the mid 90's with Dickie Butler and Henry Boone on staff(who were already classified teachers when the merger took place in 91-92) with sons Richie Butler and Clay Boone. Those teams with those two players(while they were great team players and teammates) never threatened the region and opponents. To answer All In on how many kids this guy has that they just hired, I believe I heard he is single and no children, sounds like we can close the book on this topic.

Coach Carwile, is a great coach, I have gotten to know him through the years, he was Ty Rogers head coach at Lyon Co. I think he was a grad assistant at Morehead a few seaons ago when Tyndall took over and spent last year at Hopkinsville High School.

Yeah you are right Papa there's not been any really, Closes I know of would be Coach O'Hearn who has a small child a boy in Elementary school.
