Bellevue Coach Out????

Featured Replies

Of course money is an issue. Bellevue simply cannot compete fiscally with most other, larger schools. No news there. Support? Not sure where you're driving with that one but I don't see any problem there. No more so than in any school district at least.

Unfortunately not yet.

I know one...I think he is about 6'2 and plays shortstop on the baseball team. Do I need to say anything else????:D:D

Yes one transfer was Hunter Jones, but now there is speculation of him not returning, not sure yet, but the other one is Marcus Reynolds... I've heard he moved up to michigan, but supposedly coming back? Other than that they really have no one returning that's to strong.. At one point Bellevue had 5 starting seniors and the sixth man a senior.. Good luck to them and the new coach, try to get back to regionals :D

The word around town is that one of Swaug's old players (late 90's) that currently teaches at Bellevue is a candidate for the job. I will try to find out who and more info on him.

According to the KHSAA, Bellevue also has a new AD. Bob Seiter is no longer listed. Thay may have something to do with the delay.

How come none of the seniors were voted to the 9th region coaches association all-star team??

I thought Kessen would've been a shoe-in.

If a coach or assigned team rep misses more than 2 of the N. KY Coaches Assoc. meetings, then that team's players are ineligible for the all conference team. I have a pretty good feeling that may have been the case with Kessen.

So I am assuming that Nick Wilson is probably interviewing. He is the only late 90's player that I know that teaches at Bellevue. I think this would be a nice choice as far as getting a very loyal guy who wont be leaving anytime soon but his lack of experience may cost him some wins.

I just hope they get someone in there who can invest their time with the youth programs and build a better feeder system. Those kids in the grade schools need to be playing more competetive basketball at an earlier age if they want to compete at a high level.
