June 12, 200818 yr Author Oh my...85 checked out ok with team doctors...but afterwards his back was hurting...he will not practice. What a clown.... Rosenhaus said it was an ankle, that may need a scope. 85 said it was his back. Hilarity ensues.... Thanks to all the enablers who he dazzled...and there are some on BGP.
June 12, 200818 yr There is plenty of primadonna crap from other successful teams. Let's not act like that is the deciding factor. Then why is it the Bengals can't overcome it? And most of the teams that are successful really don't. Philly's SB year was a notable exception, but they had that team at the threshold of the SB even before TO got there. With most successful teams, when the drama hits, the coach or the team leaders put the kibosh on it in a hurry. It's garbage teams like the Bengals who allow it to fester. See: Dillon, Corey.
June 12, 200818 yr If I'm the Bengals tomorrow Chad gets a new jersey. Number 00. The true 85 was Isaac Curtis and his passing of gas has more class than Chad Johnson. If i'm Chad I don't stand to close to the sideline. My linebackers would have orders to take his head off if the chance happens.
June 12, 200818 yr As in the same cases with Carl Pickens and Corey Dillon. The Bengals will do nothing and will outwait Chad until we have to rebuild our entire team again. Its very frustrating, being a long time Bengal fan and not seeing anything change in the front office.
June 12, 200818 yr If he doesn't practice then I would give his number too a rookie and give him number zero!

June 14, 200818 yr Johnson takes part in Bengals' drills, looks rusty http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=3443473 CINCINNATI -- Receiver Chad Johnson fully participated in drills for the first time Saturday as the Cincinnati Bengals wrapped up their minicamp. The disgruntled receiver limited himself to a few drills during workouts on Thursday and Friday, complaining through his agent that he has a bad ankle. He looked fine during a workout on Saturday, catching passes from Carson Palmer. He declined to talk to the media again, other than to say "Vote for Obama" as he walked off the field -- apparently throwing his support behind Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama.[/I]

Let the circus begin. Will any real leaders step up for the Bengals and take control of the wheel? Forgive me if I won't hold my breath.
