June 15, 200818 yr I hope AJG enjoyed Harang's performance. :D He threw a very nice game. We had great seats up in the club level right behind home plate with the in-seat concession service. Harang threw a nice game. Hopefully he'll keep it going. I enjoyed Youk's homecoming today much more though. The Reds had very favorable pitching matchups these first two games of the series, I'm very pleased to be sitting 1-1 with Beckett going tomorrow. Especially as banged up as the Sox are right now. Varitek missed both of the first 2 games, Lugo was out today, Manny wasn't available in the 9th yesterday or at all today and Papi, Schill and Dice-K are on the shelf. I'm really suprised the Sox have been are 15 games over .500 at this point.

June 15, 200818 yr I think Francona proved today why he has two championship rings. Why didn't Baker bring in Cordero in the 10th? And why does he keep hitting Janish second? Great win today for the Sox and good to see Youk do well in front of the home crowd
June 15, 200818 yr Bad day in the field for the Reds. While Bako's throw to third on the steal was poor, E-5 should have caught it. Instead he tried to make some wild tag that had zero chance of being successful. I wonder if Bako got crossed up on the wild pitch by Edinson. Jay Bruce misplayed Youk's double by turning the wrong way as he was running backwards. Instead the ball lands in the grass to the side of him by about 6 feet . Oh yeah. If the Reds truly want to send a message about trying to get better, Patterson gets cut asap. He simply can't play at an acceptable MLB level.
