May 29, 200818 yr Tonight I had fried salmon patties and pinto(soup) beans. I like to dip my salmon patties in mustard and I always put a big glob of mayonnaise in my soup beans. From the time I was a child I remember loving mustard with my salmon patties. Pretty much the same can be said for the beans and mayo. Whenever I go to Cracker Barrel and order beans, the waitress looks at me like I am crazy when I ask for some mayo with my pintos. So I guess it is just one of my peculiarities. Does anyone else share one of these? What are some of the odd ways you like to eat certain foods ? Any other peculiarities related to eating? :eek:This doesn't seem peculiar to me, it sounds downright gross..
May 29, 200818 yr I have to eat over easy eggs with sausage gravy and hashbrowns, all smashed up and mixed up together. It's like a breafkast soup when I'm done. Then, some biscuits to sop it all up, and I'm ready for a great day! Also, if I eat biscuts, I have to have 2 with butter, and a third with honey.
May 29, 200818 yr I've been called "peculiar" for eating one item entirely before moving on to the next. I didn't even realize I did this, but since it was brought to my attention, I realize I do it all the time. I also do not like for any of my food to touch. When the green bean juice gets into the broccoli caserole it just ruins it for me. My son is just like this too. He too had never noticed he did this. But Momma brought it to his attention...

I don't know if I would be able to look at it while I was eating it. All those things sound great seperate, but mixed together like a soup just doesn't cut it for me. Not only that, after eating something like that, I don't think I would be able to move for the next 4 days.:creepy:

May 29, 200818 yr IT's not entirely wierd, but I put ranch dressing on those oven pizzas you buy from the store. My wife mixes may and ketchup to make "pink" sauce, which is what they do in Europe. MY best friend's wife drinks the juice in pickle jars.

May 29, 200818 yr My sister-in-law drives me bonkers over this...She'll take a flippin' paper towel & soak up all the juice so it doesn't touch the other stuff. :jump: As my grandpa would say.....It all ends up in the same place anyway!
May 29, 200818 yr Before my wife converted me to Fritos and sour cream in my chili I always ate crackers in it with a peanut butter sandwich and milk.
May 29, 200818 yr I wont eat onions on anything, but love onion rings. I love cheese, and I love hamburgers, but I hate cheeseburgers.
May 29, 200818 yr My daughter mixed ketchup and tartar sauce for her fries. I like applesauce on my salmon patties. I also eat applesauce on my mashed potatoes. I have a neice and my daughter who dip green beans in ketchup. And yes do believe that milk with cake is universal!
May 29, 200818 yr One of my top 10 favorite meals is a combination is peas, carrots, turkey sausage (the Healthy Choice, similar to a kielbasa), and fat-free croutons, loadead with red pepper. I eat it at least two times a week... going to have it for lunch today.
May 29, 200818 yr I like mustard in my Chili and the best potato chip dip is plain ole yellow mustard. :jump:
