May 23, 200818 yr Anything by Casting Crowns is awesome but "Voice of Truth" is my favorite one. "What if i Stumble" by dcTalk was the song that was my breaking point emotionally and paramount in my helping me make my choice to follow God. "Bring the Rain" by MercyMe is very good as well. As is "Kountry Gentleman" and "Love Addict" by Family Force 5. But my absolute favorite Christian song ever is "Thankful" by Caedmon's Call.
May 23, 200818 yr I basically never listen to Christian music, however, I had to come up to Cincinnati for work Wednesday night, I was scanning the radio stations looking for some good Country music but I landed on 93.3 and for some reason I left it on that channel for awhile. A couple of songs really stuck in my head, and I thought that they sounded like it might be by the same artist. I saw this thread and thought maybe I could get some help finding out who it was, and thought my questions was already answered however, Ray Boltz really threw me off, because his song wasn't what I had heard. Luckily I found the other song by the same name as Ray's and was able to verify that both songs I like were by the same artist. So, I guess my favorite Christian group is 33 Miles, as I really like "What Could Be Better", and "Thank You". The only other Christian Song that I am familiar with is "I Could Only Imagine", guess I need to get out more. I've noticed that lately more Country songs seem to have Christian roots. Not sure if you guys would consider it a Christian song but I also really like "I Believe" by Brooks and Dunn.

May 24, 200818 yr That's a great radio show on WKU public radio (which has towers in BG, E'town, O'boro and Somerset). The host, Erika Brady, was a professor of mine during my Western days. They go into a lot more than Bluegrass, though, hitting a lot of roots rock/Americana/alt-country/honkytonk/rockabilly-type stuff. I personally don't have much use for the scourge called "Christian Rock," and I think the South Park episode on the phenomena was extremely on point in noting its overwhelming lack of originality and edge. If I need the message bad enough, Bluegrass gospel and black gospel does a great job, and with talented and adventurous artists to boot. May 24, 200818 yr I have always thought Christian music sounded like badd attempts to woo Jesus into your makeout pad. Are you judging? I thought you didn't want people to judge and everyone was free to do whatever they wished. With the attitude that you have repeatedly posted on here, it seems that you would be thrilled that they are doing what they want and what is the truth for them. Since we all have our individual truths according to you.
