May 24, 200818 yr Couldn't disagree more. Some of the contemporary have as strong messages as anything written before including Amazing Grace. Casting Crowns Does anyone hear her, should speak to every Christian that mindlessly goes through their days and don't see the suffering that is happening all around them. We don't agree a lot on politics, but do agree here. I find C.C. songs much more uplifting than a lot of the other stuff. I always get chills when I hear N.C. Mullin do " Redeemer". I could listen to M.W. Smith all day long.

I don't realy care if they label me a Jesus Freak There ain't no disguising the truth" Great song when done by DC Talk, however that song has been near ruined for me. After hearing a gospel band sing that song about 2 octaves lower than it should have been and REALLY slow, it was the worst sounding cover I have ever heard. Their hearts were in the right place but it was hard to keep a straight face.
