Yes, SK will be down this year compared to previous years, but they will win their district and advance to the regional.

Walton will be down this season, but look for the Ponzer boy to step up for them as the season goes on.... It will be a rough season.

I look for big things from Brandon Bowlin this year. He is a very good shooter. Vance Sullivan will step up also. Their senior year they should be just fine.

What about Grant County? What do they need to improve on? What is everyone's opinion on how they will do this upcoming season?

The big question is why Grant is so underachieving every single year. 1000+ kids and 5 straight losing seasons.

4 returning starters and some solid role players. I see them being pretty good this year.

What about Shelby Co? Where do any of you see them ranked in the region?

I see Shelby doing surprising well considering how much they lose this year especially, Minis. Many younger players received a lot of quality playing time for them last season. Look for Johnson, Beckley, Tomlinson, and Beech to do well.

I believe Shelby Co. will repeat as Region champs.

I don't think that will happen. They will put together a good season but I see them about 3rd or 4th in the region. IMO they are in a little bit of a rebuilding stage for the following year.

Rule 13

Shelby Co. is always there come tournament time. I look for a battle between them, North Oldham and Anderson Co.

Okay, we have Anderson, North Oldham, and Shelby. Where does the rest of the 8th stand? Is South or Oldham in the mix? Anyone else?

Gallatin has again beefed up their schedule this year and should be in the mix. Owen is going to be a bit stronger this year. Should make for a very interesting post season as well as All "A" year this year.
