Jesus: Divine or Man

Featured Replies

He is both, was both and will always be both. He was God and bacame man so he could pay our price. Full God and full man.

Absolutely correct. Amen.

Both and I have some scripture, shall I write some? Question too easy, come on lets go to Revelation.

As for the original question my answer is Both.

I beleive that Jesus is the only one that is pefect and completely without sin and is God in the flesh, he became man so the sins of man could be put upon him, therefore giving us Salvation. Jesus will return to earth for his children (Christians) as Almighty God, Lord and Saviour.

I usually do not enter into this type of discussion and will not get into any argument and debate on it. I just stated my answer to the question and what I know to be fact through my faith.

In other words, God said it, I believe it, that's it.

I agree completely.:thumb:

Right there with you oldrambler...

Thank you, thank you and thank you.

I do pray that the ones that seem to be non believers in Christ will come to know him as Lord and Saviour. Right now I believe they are looking for what they want to hear so the world and the "word" can conform to them and I cannot provide that. That is just not the way it works.

I believe many of us are looking for things that Christianity cannot give us.

I see so much Gooch and would /tried to share it with you/others. But 200 years from now I just hope I'm where Jesus said I'd be. Know what, 200 years ago someone wondered about 200 years from his moment.

I guess I have to keep looking

Then what are you looking for may I ask?

That spiritual fufillment that so many seek.

Romans 10:9 Confess with your mouth "Jesus is LORD and you will be saved."

Jesus only has to die once on the cross for you. He was beaten so badly that they figured he was beaten for about 8 hours. Our sins are forgiven.

Ezekiel 3;16 "We must warn others of their sins, if we do that we will be blessed whether or not they keep sinning".

That spiritual fufillment that so many seek.

Do you want spiritual fulfillment or worldly fulfillment? Jesus said deny yourself, take up your cross and follow him. If you are not willing to give up everything you have for your faith, then you will never be fulfilled.

Christ promises eternal life for those who follow him, what is more fulfilling than that?

Very well said Uncle Jed. :thumb:

Actually you are trying to quote Ezekiel 3:19

"Yet if you have warned the wicked, and he does not turn from his wickedness or from his wicked way, he shall die in his iniquity; but you have delivered yourself."

Hatz thanks for the correction, I was actually starting at the beginning of the "Warning" at 16 so people could read what God was referring to. The passage is also mentioned again a few verses down and even again in Chapter 33:7-9.
