May 2, 200818 yr Nephew and I went to the Thursday showing of Iron Man last night. Very good movie. I'll wait til more folks see it before giving any comments as to not give anything away. For you true supehero fans like me, please keep watching the movie until all the credits have finished to see the ending! It's worth staying for.
May 2, 200818 yr Very very very good movie. It could be my favorite super hero movie ever made. Ranks right up there with Batman Begins for me. The last scene after the credits is awesome, and sets up a potential new movie for the future.
May 3, 200818 yr Seen it tonight and I must say I really enjoyed it, it was awesome. Great story Downey doing a great job. WARNING: SPOILER BELOW After the credits there is a scene that has Samuel L. Jackson in it and he is from S.H.I.E.L.D and let's stark know about "The Avengers Initiative".
May 3, 200818 yr The family and I saw it this afternoon. My boy loved it. I got a big kick out of him laughing, and saying "Yeah" when Iron Man first started coming out of the cave and kicking butt.
May 3, 200818 yr There is going to be an Iron Man II due out in 2010, and then there will be an "Avenger's" movie but no release date is set yet.

If you were going to rate this movie on a scale of 1-10, with 1 being horrible and 10 being great, what would you give it? And would you go see it again?
May 3, 200818 yr The Rotten Tomato ranking is at 94 percent right now, while I expect that to go down, that is still stunning for a movie with already 150 or so reviews. IMDB.com has a rating of 8.3 out of a 10, with over 3,000 votes. I'm going to take a guess that a lot of people seem to like this movie
May 3, 200818 yr I think it's great that you guys watch it but I'm not a fan of Robert Downey, Jr. so I won't be seeing it. I will also say however that two of my roommates went to see it yesterday and they loved it.

May 3, 200818 yr I give it a 9.5 at least. Like I said, one of the, if not the best superhero movies ever made.
May 3, 200818 yr Looks absolutely awful in trailers, like a flying Robocop with Robert Downey, of all people in the lead. Would think that casting would be enough to keep people away, but I guess not.

Or you don't listen to your fellow BGP'ers. This movie is great. If you liked Superman Returns, Batman Begins, Spiderman I, II (III was terrible), or any other super hero movie, you should like this one. Also you get a preview of the new Hulk movie in this as well. Edward Norton is great so I think the Hulk will be great too.
May 3, 200818 yr And btw, for those of you who don't like Robert Downey... I wasn't a huge fan of his before this movie either. But he does a fantastic job in this role. He is perfect for it.

I'm with you HB, he did a great job in the movie. I never really read any of the Iron Man comics but I really liked this movie--I think it'll be a huge success and a great franchise.
