Pitching to Luke Maile

4 letters could be done quite easily, if you played varsity soccer, kicked for the football team, played Basketball and Baseball.

I don't think it would be easy. Possible yes, but not easy.:D

Getting back to the topic.

Where are his holes? How do you pitch to him?

Just curious as my boys may be facing him later on.

I Could be wrong and probally are but I heard it was..... Football, Golf, Basketball and Baseball... but could be wrong.

We never saw him on the golf course in any of the major tournaments, but could have played some matches I guess.

I find it hard to believe that he would just play a couple matches on the side because both golf and football teams practice every day of the week sans sundays for football probably

Farris has definitely never hit the golf course for Boone. He is however a four year football letterman, two year basketball letterman, and will be a five year baseball letterman.

Keep in mind, it's Boone County that he's lettering. And I'm pretty sure you can only letter in 3 sports tops

Fall- Football, Golf, Soccer, Cross Country

Spring- Baseball, Lacrosse, Track, Tennis

Winter- Basketball, Swimming

Unless I'm missing a KHSAA sanctioned sport at Boone County, I'm pretty sure it's impossible to letter in 4 sports in a year

Not sure what that is supposed to mean?

Football+Basketball+Baseball = 3 sports, 3 letters, very possible. I dont think i've ever heard his name mentioned for soccer?

Cardinal fan...your are correct with Corey....He lettered in basketball as a freshman and a sophomore. Football all four years. And now baseball for his 5th year....And just to clarify the Connie Mack World Series. He was not the mvp....but was elected the first team DH. He raked all week and set the series record for triples.

WebGems37- Sorry about that thank you for clearing that up

How many homeruns did Maile have last year at this time in the season?

I find it hard to believe that ANY hitter, particularly on the high school level, is too good to get out.

The same can be said in the college & professional ranks.

As a pitcher, you can let the hitter get themselves out. The great hitters are the one's who you must get out. That's when pitching gets fun. :D
