That wasn't BC game plan last year. Maybe BC learn something from last year. :scared:

 

I will add if GC plays like they did at Lewis Co last night. GC will go down in defeat.

 

True about the Lewis Co. part. It seems, IMO, that the Muskies are suffering from a Jekyl and Hyde problem so far this year. At times the are awesome, and at others they look extremely weak.

I think we may possibly see the "aces" in this game. Boyd will want to prove that last year's regional loss was a fluke, and the Muskies will want to show that it wasn't. If GCHS plays to it's potential, it should be a good game. Both teams are really looking at this game as a "must win", not so much as far as records go, but in a case of pride for both squads.

Sorry Alum97, I gotta disagree with you on this one. If either of these teams throw ANY of their studs, the coaches are idiots. There is no such thing as a must win game at this time of year, especially when the regular season doesn't mean jack other than for bragging rights. And, bragging during the regular season doesn't mean crap when you are sitting at home reading the newspaper for post-season scores.

Last years game was a fluke, proof being GC"s showing at Applebee's, but GC should be the fav this year.

GC lineup should be interesting with three missing starters. Stringfellow, Staten, & Chaffins all have base stealing potential and are hit producers. This will be a good test for the replacements.

I believe GC will throw Greenslate. I have no clue about Boyd Co., but I doubt it is Helms.

I would be willing to bet that Chase Wiler is on the mound for BC...I think he is their #4 pitcher.

Wiler would be my bet as well.

A perfectly executed plan and you call it a fluke?? I don't agree.

 

Granted, the trip to Applebee's was short for them, but I don't think Boyd would have fared any better.

Greenup Co takes the win with Greenup 12 and Boyd 8. Greenup County pitched Kyle Martin.

I had the 12 part right, Boyd put up a few more runs than I thought.
