Of the sophmores you mentioned that might contribute is there a true take it to the hole type player like Derek Adams was last year? With no height Iam sure Coach Faust will have them playing tough D, but any of them have that physical type body or style to spark them on offense? All said I believe like you said if the kids get with Coach Faust style they should have a very sucessful season in their new district.

 

I truely believe the player that can fill Adams role and spark this team offensively and defensively is Ryan Anderson. This kid has a basketball body. He's worked very hard in the weight room and I expect him to be the first to go from not seeing much varsity time as a sophmore to a 10pt per game player.. He's quick, around 6'3" and can shoot the ball pretty well.

Have you seen the draw? Newport and Beechwood play first, then the winner walks to the finals. Reminds me of St Henrys draw last year.

I think the 9th region will have either Newport or NCC. Newport returns all their players from last year, and NCC I think returns 3 starters. Not sure who else in the 9th will be in the running.

Beechwood returns 3 starters and I believe that St Henry returns 3 as well.

The loss of Housley at Newport just dealt a minor blow to Newport's chances in the 9th.

I would say that Beechwood just got really lucky, although the Wildcats will still be very good.
