I was told that he is the real deal..............

He's a good pitcher ... and an even better kid.

Hopefully he'll go somewhere and play.

What year is he? How is the velocity and size?

Not only velocity but what kind of movement does he have on his pitches and can he locate? Or does he just over-power high school hitters?

Forgive Aaron Mayfield if he didn’t want to come back home after his spring break trip to Florida.

Mayfield, a LaRue County senior, just quite possibly had the best imaginable trip for a baseball player. In a six-day stretch, he had tossed, not one, but two perfect games, while batting nearly .800.

“It has to be the best trip,” Mayfield said Saturday after returning home. “But you have to come back eventually.”

Congratulations to this young man on this remarkable feat. Best of luck to him in the future.

Now that is impressive! I hope he gets some sort of national recognition because he deservers it.

Impressive feat by Aaron. Throwing one perfect game is hard enough much less than two in a row.

WOW!

Heath is not a bad ball club either.

Outstanding feat and deserving of all the accolades. Well done Aaron.
