April 7, 200818 yr He would be an excellent 3rd round pick up!:thumb: I don't really see why Sweed woudl be there in the third round... I really don't even think he'll be there in the second round... But I do like him.... Wanna make jokes about our scouting dept.? Well I would be ok with it if they scouted Texas and we ended up with Sweed and Jamaal Charles...
April 7, 200818 yr I really like Limas Sweed of Texas. He is ranked as the 6th WR on Scout.com, but I really like him. He is tall and fast. He is 6-5 with a 4.50 40 time. I think he would be a good pick with one of out 3rd round picks if he is still there. I think he would be a very good choice, if he's there in the 3rd.
April 7, 200818 yr Keenan Burton or Steve Johnson? Worth a pick in the later rounds? Would love to see the Bengals pick up one of these guys in rounds 5-7. I think Burton could be a very productive return specialist also. -- Another name is Monk from Arkansas. He is tall and fast. He was injured much of last year, but had great ypc and touchdown numbers as a Jr. Could fill the void nicely left by Henry.
April 8, 200818 yr Who would be some that the bengals would have a legitimate shot at going after? Is the field strong this year for good receivers in later rounds? Several gifted athletes in the Florida:creepy: State Penal system
April 8, 200818 yr Keenan is 6'2. What about Steve Johnson? And what are their 40's? Oh and I don't see how anyone could really think Limas Sweed won't be picked before the third round...
April 8, 200818 yr I believe SJ is about 6'2 as well. Keenan's 40 I believe was in the low 4.4's with the second highest vertical in the whole camp. SJ ran a 4.5 something at the camp and dropped it into the 4.4's for UK's pro day. Sweed is definitely the type of talent that goes before the 3rd round. Not to mention he is the type of guy Roethlisberger is asking for in Pitt, so he could be a guy they are targeting.
April 8, 200818 yr I just walked into Stevie Johnson and Woodson. I remember being blown away at Stevie when I saw him up close in Nashville. He is MUCH bigger than I thought he was! Both of those guys have a chance to be great sleepers IMO. Early Doucet is the guy that has slipped because of his 40 time that I think is just a football player. I'd be really happy if the Bengals or Bucs snatched him up in the 2nd round or so.
April 9, 200818 yr Hopefully they learned their lesson:cool:  Manningham would be a perfect replacement for Henry.
April 9, 200818 yr His stock is dropping fast because he lied about smoking grass. Sent a letter and admitted he lied about it though that has to count for something!:lol:
