I think the Bengals releasing Henry is good for the team, do you?

I think it helps Cincinnati. Too many problems with this guy.

Henry has always shown signs of having tremendous talent but the baggage he brings to an organization isn't worth the headache. IMO anytime you can rid yourself of a player with off the field problems things should improve. I think the Bengals will be much better without him. This gives someone else a chance to step up and as mentioned maybe Glen Holt can take this opportunity and run with it.

Absolutely not IMO. Next to Palmer, Henry was the most talented guy on the field for the Bengals. It was the right move, but it's in no way a good thing IMO.

Short term is really hurts Cincy by making their strongest point looking weak. Their was a clear difference with the teams offense from the first 8 weeks without Henry and the last with him. Chad not wanting to be a Bengal and TJ whining about money, makes this offense look average at best.

Long term, it helps if you start bringing in young men who are not only good football players, but good citizens.

I agree with this. He had to be let go, but the fact they planned on him being a part of the team sets the team back. If he had been released a couple of years ago, they would have moved past that by now.

Yes. Now they can concentrate on football and not have to worry about questions about how CH and his brushes with the law is affecting the lacker room

It's good for the City and the team. Huggins wasn't allowed to house them, why is Marvin?

If Chad goes I guess were gonna be handing the ball off a lot or throwing to Utecht/Housh

I kept thinking this kid would change and become one of the best receivers in the game, but that's obviously not going to happen so I'm glad Cincy gave him the boot.
