Probably the same thing that we all do when we each says "blacks" or "whites" in these threads. We are all lumping groups of people into the same pots.

I do not believe that our police profile based on race like in the past...not as frequently. But it still happens whether you want to believe it or not.

Profiling happens to all, regardless of their skin color. When I was young I got pulled over a lot. Why? The way my car looked and the way I looked, so did the vast majority of my friends and we are all white.

I disagree. Those stats do not provide any evidence that blacks were committing more crimes, just that they were being arrested more, searched more, and threatened with use of violence more. It does not say that they were caught with drugs more than whites, or broke the law more.

Plenty of people have been disadvantaged. White, Black, Latino, Chinese, Irish.... All you're doing is enabling. In other words, your way of thinking is the cause that they continue on that way.

I don't think you should post something so definitive unless you have EXPERIENCED it. Have you? Have you had to grow up in housing projects in bad city's with terrible schools?
