I like Sean Miller too much to root against him at IU.

Ditto for John Brannen if Grant was to get the job.

Does Matta have an IU connection? If not, I don't see him leaving O$U.

Bruce Pearl's sleeping with Pat Summit so he's not going anywhere.

I like Tony Bennett's voice so he gets my vote...

^ Which is what labs reported a couple months ago with Grant possibly heading to S. Carolina.

And as soon as he did I told you LSU was much more likely to get him.

SC (ask Steve Spurrier;)) wants him but at this point its very unrequited.

Pearl said a couple of days ago that he "expected" IU to come calling after the season is over but that he is not interested in leaving Knoxville (for whatever that's worth).

He may have told the media that, but he told a relatively close coaching friend that they have come calling and have come HARD, and he would considerate it...but it would take A LOT to leave Knoxville.

Pearl called IU a "dream job" in an interview a few weeks ago.

Agents for Calipari and Pearl have contaced IU....

No way Pearl leave UT, I'm not a IU fan, but I think this is a good job for Sean Miller. He has done great things at X, and he has earned his shot at a big school. Now if this is the big school he wants may be on thing, but he has at least earned a shot. Plus I voted for Brey because that was the one I happen to click and wanted to see the results.

No real news right now, except that a 10 person committee was formed earlier this week to lead the nationwide search for a new coach.

Either would be great hires for IU.

While there is probably interest on their part, this is probably also leverage for a new contract at their existing schools.

How long do you expect the coaching search to take 98 ? Do you expect them to hire someone before they find out what type of punishment they will get ?
