Wow ! You can throw stats out the window on this game ! Ashland had to many turnovers to count and Rowan couldn't make two with a pencil. Both teams didn't play their usual game but I guess they all had a case of nerves. Tough loss for the Kittens to end a fine season. Congrats to Rowan Co. and good luck at Diddle.

This was a great game to watch both teams fought hard all the way to the end. The Ashland girls have nothing to hang their heads about they have had a great season just come up a little short tonight to a good Rowan County team. Coach Bradly has done a great job with these girls and they seem to be a great bunch of kids.

Congrats to Rowan and Ashland for a great game. Another break for Rowan-with the Girl's state tourny being pushed back a day, they now play at noon instead of 8 a.m. After a cross-state trek, that is a favorable break.

State tourny hasn't been changed. Rowan never had to play at 8 am. 16th region was always at 1:30. Games start Wednesday as planned.
