WHERE in the world have you been hiding, LC99?????

Maybe a bit off subject, but, did Joe Rosk??? go on to play any college ball? I loose track of the kids following graduation. Not sure how to spell his last name.

Joe signed with Union College. If not for injury the past 2 years he could have played div 1 in my opinion. He was just behind Quention Henson for the best that I have seen roll out of LC.

I don't know anyone who makes it through it injury free. Some guys get it worse than others. He was a great back. Loved to watch him take the pitch on a sweep and pick a hole and explode through it. I hope he does well @ UC. You guys come to Harlan this year. Hope we are competitive.

Lynn Camp has had a great line of TB's over the last 10 years. I can not think of many other schools in the mountains that have had better talent at that position. What was the kids name that played TB/DB a few years ago? I think he may be on UK's roster.

He was at UK but is at EKU now. I don't know if he's still playing ball or not, but you are thinking of Jimmy Chaffin. He was a great player for us.

I think you are talking about Jimmy Chaffin, he went to UK out of high school, but left for EKU after his freshman year. Dressed for a bowl game that year which was cool. He may be back at UK but I wouldn't think so.

Jimmy was an all around great player. He reached the end zone every way possible. Aginst Somerset his senior year he Took a kick off back, Interception, ran and caught a pass for touchdowns .

Ok I was in attendance for Midnite madness tonight and the boys looked good. Sidney wagner looked in great shape and ran like a stud. Jonah Mitchell looked impressive and can cut on a dime. Brad Bargo looked unstopable on the defensive line. I am ready for some Lynn Camp football.

 

Where was Wesley Steele? I couldnt spot him on the field nor his parents in the stand. Also how come Tyrone Persons did not dress?

They will be fine. I think Whitley looms larger on their schedule than the new Harlan County. You gotta think Whitley will have retribution on their mind for the embarrasing blow out Lynn Camp handed them. Not to mention it is a rivalry game. This to me is one of the most interesting games in the mountains this year.

 

Just reading over this thread because you all will play the new Harlan County Black Bears this year. First off THANKS for playing us I know we had a difficult time with people dropping off the schedule and stuff. I also like your attitude that your team will be fine against the new High School. There is even a tread about it on here about it, but a lot of people are complaining that we are a 5A playing a 3A schedule. It comes as a welcomed surprise that you all don't back down and look forward to playing Harlan County, who know what we will have! Good Luck this season.

First off, thanks, Rico. Dave will play just about anybody and anywhere. Larkey and Mitchell go way back and there was no way he would back out of the deal. He pushed for it. Looking forward to the 2nd week of the season.

 

Rome, I'm hedging here until I can see that our Offense can prove itself. If the O plays, we could be a suprise. If not, it could be one long year.
