When is midnight madness?

How is Quenton Henson doing these days? I have not seen him in a while.

Haven't seen it yet, no more than the usual football related "me-against-you" stuff.

 

Midnight madness, as of right now, is July 31st.

 

I haven't seen Quenton in probably 2 years. Last I heard he was working in Lexington.

I remember watching Henson play for Lynn Camp, he was a great back. In my opinion he was on one of the best Lynn Camp teams ever in 96. I think he was the starting TB as a Freshman that year.

He was the best in my time to ever play at Lynn Camp.

Quenton was an entirely different type of player than most. He was the "man among boys" we hear so much about. He was the best ever here, and would be one of the top 5 or 10 players ever to come out of this area. Once in a lifetime type of player.

What was the FB/LB name Henson's Freshman and Soph. year? That guy was great on both sides of the ball.

Yes. He was recruited by Michigan and a number of Div. 1 schools as a defensive player.

I misread the post earlier. The LB/FB was Joe Melton. He was tough as nails on both sides of the ball.

LC had a load of talented rushers/athletes from 96-98. Unfortunately, the district/region was also loaded with the talent also.

Joe was the starting tailback Quentin's Freshman year. Not too bad that a starter and a backup rush for over 1000 yards. The actual fullback off that team I believe was Phillip Cima. Nick Valentine also played a lot at fullback as well during the Henson's years. The key to a great gound attack at Lynn Camp has been the play at Fullback, and it will be one of the question marks for the team this year. If they get strong play at fullback, look for Steele and Wagner to a have big year.
