I agree with that statement. I personally feel regardless who goes from the 16th should get the full support of our region. This is going to be a dandy tonight and I can't wait to call it on the radio! It should be a good ol' good one in Morehead, Kentucky!!!

This game is what Kentucky high school basketball is all about. The top two teams in the region battling it out for the chance to represent the 16th at Rupp. A wild cheering section representing half the county in maroon and black, and a bunch in blue and white excited to be at the big show again. It doesn’t get any better that this.

 

Rose Hill is a mix of big and strong with skill and quickness, Elliott County is experienced, quick and scrappy. Both have potentially explosive offenses, backed by tenacious defensive play. The players and coaches of both teams have a deep respect for one another, forged in the heat of competition. There will be ten fierce competitors on the floor at every moment. There are no cupcakes here.

 

I genuinely wish the best for both teams tonight, and pray for a hard fought, clean game, free from injuries for all players. This one has a good chance of being a classic. I have no doubt the best team will win tonight, it’s a shame anybody has to go home from this one with a loss and their season finished.

 

I believe that Rose Hill will pull this one out, but there will be no shame for either team, win or lose after both teams leave it all on the floor this evening.

 

If you’re not in Morehead tonight, you’re going to miss a great one. :thumb:

I just looked at Elliott's roster and their biggest player outside of Timmy Knipp is 6'3" and 175 lbs. So they got some 4 inches shorter and 60 pounds lighter to stand in for Euton? This is how they prepared for this game?

 

It's not that easy to do but I am confused. Maybe Rose Hill should have used those 6th grade twins.

Ricky P, so you can stop worrying so much they have a freshman on the JV he is something like 6'4" well over 200 & I think this is the best they could do itf that were their intentions. Sorry no one else 6'8" but that was the best they could do.

Not worried just confused. You have to admit when someone uses the phrase "brought in the like of Euton" that does seem like someone was brought in.

She's going with me smart guy and I'm gonna get there early and sit right behind "the round mound of sound" so I'll get the best of both worlds. Kinda like turning the sound down on the TV and listening to Cawood. That's what it's like watching and listening to GoRadio.
