Off the top of my head I believe the TM game was the most entertaining game of the year for the Birds.

 

I bet Central was pretty entertaining too.

They only listed the games played in Cincy. I believe there will be a slate of games played at Canton, which will feature some of the other non-Cincy Ohio powers.

 

You are absolutely corect. They play the other games at the OTHER Paul Brown Stadium in Massilon

Per Cincinnati Enquirer:The Cincinnati portion of the annual Kirk Herbstreit Ohio vs. USA football challenge is set for 2008, according to an event spokesman.Jim Herbstreit, father of Kirk Herbstreit and prime matchmaker for the event, said this year's Cincinnati event was set for Paul Brown Stadium because there had been a potential conflict on Labor Day weekend at UC's Nippert Stadium.

2 p.m. - Huber Heights Wayne vs. Warren Central (Ind.)

If NKU soccer doesn't get in the way, I'll be at both days. It's always neat to see teams from other parts of the country.

This is surprising. I know Herbie wantas to make this a national event, but Ky usually has a team in. Highlands, St. X or Trinity (amongst many good teams) couldn't get a bid?

 

Keep in mind that Kentucky schools are in the second year of contract cycle. May not be a vast conspiracy here, just maybe nobody was open at the right time. Also, this is the year (2008), that Ohio's schedule and Kentucky's schedule are not necessarily lined up (Ohio does something unique in setting their dates for play). So it should align itself by 2009 from what my coach told me.

I'd say that the 40-0 Highlands win over CovCath in the playoffs was the most entertaining!

Is Colerain the team to beat in Cincy next year? St. X lost a ton. Are Moeller and Elder reloaded? Is this the year one of the Lakota's actually challenges Colerain in the GMC? Can I ask any more questions?

If so then Highlands will get their Classic event all to themselves when they take on Colerain at Colerain. Usually crowds are pretty sizable for these matchups so maybe a move to PBS or UC will be in the works.:thumb:
