Mason Co. 55 Bishop Brossart 37

Featured Replies

Mason and Harrison Friday night.

Mason will have to play a much better game Friday night if they want to get to the finals.

I also want to congragulate Lacey Cline for going over the 2500 point mark for her career.

Where will the Mason Co. celebration be held this year?

Sorry, couldn't help myself.

That was for the boys, not the girls.

Every time Brossart looked to get back in it, the Lady Royals had an answer. Happened once late in the first quarter; may have carried over into the second. Then again, when Brossart cut the lead to 41-30 after a couple of defensive lapses, Mason put the game away with another nice run. Lacey Cline was on fire early; when she wasn't hitting from long range, Desarae Chembers was working down low against Brossart's zone.

Good solid win for Mason County in the first round. Question - more zone from the Lady Royals on defense than usual last night?

Thats correct more zone. The opponent dictates it, if its not a great shooting team from the perimeter, the zone that was played last night is very effective.

Maybe over in Cynthiana after they beat Harrison on Friday.

Lots of rain and high water over here...might want to find a drier place.

MaCo should certainly win...I'll agree with that. Harrison Co. has no players that will play beyond high school and the Lady Royals do...

Odds are stacked against the Fillies, for sure...don't see how they can possibly win this one, but stranger things have happened.
