This team is scary good right now. :thumb:

I agree, they are really "hitting on all cylinders" now and it would not suprise me at all to see U.L. in the final four.

I really don't think this team is 'hitting on all cylinders.' They've improved, and I think nearly all of them 'get it' but this team still has more upside to tap for a March run.

Louisville gets its 9th straight win, as Tello has a great Senior Day.:dancingpa

Is this the same Tello that was the next Monster Mash?

That Tello is gone forever after breaking his foot, tearing his ankle apart, developing back problems and suffering two very bad knee injuries.

And for the record, before his injuries, Tello was a joy to watch play basketball. A hard worker but a raw player, very coachable, and earned a starting spot on a Final Four team. It's a shame what injuries took away from him, because I saw an NBA player in Palacios.

It all started with a poke in the eye...

 We know... we know... it was intentional right?

ET phone home...

It's amazing how getting poked in the eye will lead to foot, ankle, and back problems.

Louisville's depth is what will make them such a tough out in the tourney. You never know who is going to have the big night. Might be Padgett. Might be Clark. Might be T-Will. Jerry Smith is 6'1" and had 10 rebounds against Nova. McGee gets hot with 3's and is a great defender. Sosa and Knowles will give you good minutes. Caracter is not as good as I thought he'd be, but he can show flashes of really tough play underneath. Tough, tough team to diagram a gameplan against.

Great game by the Cards today, 'Nova looked confused all day on offense and just couldn't get to the basket. This game could have been a lot worse for 'Nova if it wasn't senior night. I'll have to admit I got a little water in my eyes during the senior tribute...

Juan's mother was also flown in from Colombia so she could see her son play for the first time. Juan came out on fire with the crowd going nuts for him and she couldn't stop crying the entire game, it was really a touching sight to see. She hugged Pitino and couldn't let go of the darn guy she was so thankful for everything he'd done for Juan. Great stuff. All guys were pretty funny in their speeches after the game, it was just an all around great time and I'll sure miss those guys.

I had never been to senior day at Freedom Hall until yesterday and it was awesome. The tribute they did for the 3 seniors was very moving. I believe it was one of the best times I have experienced in Freedom Hall and I'm definitely glad that I was fortunate enough to get tickets.
