I am also picking Wayne County to come out of the 12th.

Well I'll be honest I'm hoping Southwestern will make a huge upset. But I don't foresee that, so I'm going to say Wayne to Rupp.

I know it is hard to repeat in the 12th region, but what leads everyone to believe that Lincoln won't win this thing again. They have experience and senior leadership, plus they have been here before. Just in my opinion Lincoln is headed to Rupp and will represent the 12th region very well this year!

I am a life-long Rocket fan and have seen the Jumpers 2 times this year and they are very capable of making a run. They handled the Rockets at home and I believe that if they can get back to the form that they had against us over here they have a real shot. My prediction is that Lincoln wins a squeker against the Jumpers in the Finals.

If Somerset can play defense like they did tonight against Wayne Co. I am going to predict Somerset winning the 12th by beating Pulaski Co. in the finals. Somerset will have their hands full with the winner of Boyle and West Jessamine, as will Pulaski with Lincoln but I believe it will come down to Pulaski playing Somerset. I think Somerset would have an easier game against Lincoln Co but it will surprise me if Lincoln can get past Pulaski Co.

Lincoln beat Somerset and Pulaski Co. by double digits this year so lets not get carried away with the Somerset vs Pulaski final just yet.

And by the way they did get by your Maroons by 19 in the regular season. SO lets see what happens the second time around.

In picking Monday night's games, I say Lincoln Co. wins 64-56 and Somerset wins 46-42.

It seems that the 12 region fans south of the county line don't repect the Patriots. I would like to think that a team that loss only one game in the region all year could get a little more respect, but........... they don't on here.

If Somerset can put it all together (something they haven't really done all season) they have a good shot at getting to Rupp. Good Luck Jumpers. Way to prove me wrong against Wayne!

I would have to agree with LC Pats fans- Lincoln isnt getting much respect being in the top 25 and winning 25 games this year. I would also say that West Jessamine gets no respect either. Not even a post that they beat Boyle County last night. Seems Lincoln County and West Jessamine have been the 2 best teams in the 12th the last 2 years and could meet again in the finals? I think from Danville south no one really cares about the top part of the 12th!:confused:

My picks in the semi's are Lincoln and W Jess. I didn't think Somerset really played that well against Wayne it was just that two teams didn't play well and one of them had to win and move on. Somerset did play well down the stretch to seal the win but I wouldn't say they put it together and played well for the game. They still haven't broken the 40 point barrier in the last two games.

Lincoln is still the favorite and for good reason, but I believe they will be challenged or beat in their next one or two games. If Pulaski does not win they will at least beat them up a little, they play physical. Maybe that will give Somerset or West Jessamine a better chance of winning the following night in the finals.

The Lincoln kids have been through the battles in the past...I think they can pull through in this tourney.
