They made it to the Region, that's more than most of the other teams can say. Give it a rest, if you can't say anything positive than why say anything at all?? I don't see any reasoning with negative people. GO JUMPERS, we would love to see them in the finals, but either way, we're glad they are in the region tournament.

gchs is one of the most respected and least bias people that comment on the 12th region. I agree with him that Somerset hasn't really did anything to have recognition. They lost to Lincoln, Boyle, and Wayne. Now, if they had proved their worth by beating any of the preceding teams, then they would garner more respect.

I was simply responding to a previous comment about "no love for the Jumpers." This thread is essentially picking the regional champion. Nobody was picking Somerset because they struggled to beat Rockcastle County and then were absolutely handled (and scored 36 points) against Pulaski County. That doesn't make them a bad team. It simply means that the way they are currently playing (6 losses in 9 games) makes them shaky heading into the tournament.

We have lost several of late so you are right, who is going to pick a team that is in a slump.. But, I wouldnt count them out just yet..

Got to see them against Boyle. You have a nice team that looked impressive. I was surprised Boyle won. You are capable of making a run. Good Luck!

The Jumpers better remember how to play hard and not get intimidated when someone hits them in the mouth like they did against PC or it will be 1 and done for the 4th time in a row in the 12 Region Tourney. They suffer from a intestinal fortitude deficiency--and I'm a Jumper fan. This team has to play tougher or go home.
