LCC wins 71-59 over JBS.

Wow..Really thought JBS would have a chance at the Region Title.

JBS struggles continue into the tourney. Congrats to LCC.

Perfect example of why they are five players instead of two. 1000 assist? Second quarter, fast break, Stepp has the ball, TEAM MATE ahead of him OPEN, what does he do? Looks at him proceeds to the basket and turned it over. Guess that was assist 1001.....

OMG...what happened? LCC has really been coming on over the end of the season and I know they had given JBS tough games both times they met, but I still figured it would be a closer contest! It all boils down to teamwork. That is what wins games, and when you forget that, the lights go out and everyone falls on their face! I wish the JBS kids best of luck in their future and feel Letcher will be stiff competition in the region.

I'd say that no one keeps track of his turnovers. It would be interesting to know who holds the record for the most turnovers in their KY high school career? And the most most missed shots for that matter.

This game was a :eek:shocker:eek: when I read about it. It seems that everybody has hit the nail on the head with if you want to make a deep run into post season play then you have got to play as team.

If Cox and Collins had been allowed to be more involved in the offense, then JBS wins the region. They were the keys to JBS success and when they get left out, JBS doesn't win. Just my opinion. Letcher Central does have a great team and has a chance to win the region, but I believe JBS could have repeated if they involved these two young men more.

I did too. What happened to JBS in the second half of the season?

Coach Justice is one of the best in the mountains and state.

Shame one of the most talented teams in eastern Kentucky doesent have an oppotunity to go to region or state. If they would have played team ball they would have easily won the region. Im not a JBS fan by any means and am glad they got beat out. This imo makes the road easier for my Dores. Do the Stepps keep coaching now that the great Clark Stepp is going d-1 or whatever?
