April 23, 200818 yr Centre has at least six (6) former Trinity Shamrocks on its roster: Grant Conliffe, Kyle Saylor, Brian Coxon, Alex Ubelhart, Dane Spoelker and Nick Hobbs. I think that Coach Mason's roster in basketball is tilted heavily toward to private school kids. Don't know if Centre athletics attracts private schools kids more than public school kids, or not. I would tend to think that if more private school kids attend private colleges that it has to do with the families' ability to handle the financial burden.

I don't think so. At least it wasn't when I was there and from what I can tell (my son is a frosh now) it doesn't seem to be the case now. Trinity has always seemed to have a decent number of graduates at Centre. I don't think its a money thing either, because every one of the Trinity graduates that was there when I was there was deeply on financial aid (and I was too!).
