February 24, 200818 yr Coach Fox has left for an opportunity in Iowa. A new Offense Coordinator should be named within a week or two. This is a very impressive coaching staff, very focused on winning, but not off the deep end with it. I believe Coach Frye is very comfortable in his role at a very well respected academic school.

That is a very correct statement, and I think the coaches do a good job of balancing everything. Hopefully they can get the offense turned around. There has been pretty decent talent at Centre the past 4 or so years since I've been here, just never been able to quite get it done.

I'm not fllowing your thought here. Could they be better with lower tuition? Is the higher tuition funding the program to allow then to compete at their level? Help me understand?:confused:
February 29, 200818 yr The only college sports programs that make any money are DI and DIII, in Centre's case, the tuition paid by the football players more than make up for the cost of the program. Centre is really good at getting their students financial aid through grants and scholarships and no interest student loans.
March 8, 200818 yr Centre has at least six (6) former Trinity Shamrocks on its roster: Grant Conliffe, Kyle Saylor, Brian Coxon, Alex Ubelhart, Dane Spoelker and Nick Hobbs. I think that Coach Mason's roster in basketball is tilted heavily toward to private school kids. Don't know if Centre athletics attracts private schools kids more than public school kids, or not.
March 10, 200818 yr Has anybody heard who the new offensive coordinator will be? Haven't heard a name but I understand he was highly reccommended and that he is intense.:banana:
