February 24, 200818 yr Author Beer is sold at W.K.U. baseball games, and the baseball stadium is on campus. Shockingly, student attendence has soared since they started selling it. I think if it were sold at UK baseball games they would see a huge attendance boost. Now they really just get a few students, and half of those will stand on the deck in RF and drink their own beverages.

February 24, 200818 yr If I'm not mistaken, you can get a draft beer at the University of Wisconsin student union, and I have heard of several other campuses across the country that are "wet." I can't imagine all NCAA tourney games are dry. Anybody who's been to games at a few different sites who can shed some light on this one? By rule all NCAA tournament games in all sports are dry regardless of where they are. If you don't agree to this you can't host games. Several years ago Bellarmine sold beer at home basketball games. They hosted first round games of the women's tournament and were told they couldn't sell beer. They also hosted the division 2 men's championship at the Commonwealth Convention Center an they were not allowed to sell alcohol. I am 100% certain this is NCAA policy.
February 25, 200818 yr What college conferences do allow the sales of alcohol? I know the SEC and Big 12 don't and the Big East does. What about the other big conferences?
February 25, 200818 yr ^ I would imagine that the Big XII does. I know CUSA does. Went to the Kansas/Baylor game and they did not sell beer.
