I have hear Lefew's name too. I am very excited if that is true. It would be nice to get a young, big time player like that. He has plenty of "winning" experience in college and high school. I think it would be a good move.

 

Yaden did put some points up in his day. I have not heard any rumors of Cooper. I thought Garrard would give him a shot at their job.

 

Another rumor flying around is that Stonebreaker is a possibilty. This seems odd to me, resigning as a head coach to be an assistant. He does have a lot of experience.

Congratulations to Lincoln County. It looks like the Pats were able to get their guy and I believe Mike Settles will do a wonderful job there. Lincoln County has always been a solid program and hopefully their success will continue.

Coach Settles will do a good job at LC.

Joe Prince was the head coach at Ohio County prior to Mike and Joe did a great job there before he moved on to Louisville Eastern and now Owensboro. Joe really brought the program a long way and left it for Mike in really good shape for him to takeover.Joe took Ohio County from a terrible program to a respectable program.

Coach Prince left Ohio County to go to Union County. Coach Royce Hood took Ohio County over when Prince left. Coach Settles followed Hood's 1 year of service. As mentioned several times throughout the thread, Settles is a good coach and a wonderful person. Good luck to him, his staff, and players at Lincoln County.

How long was he at Union?I thought he had a couple of good teams at Ohio before he left.

The name Bobby Leffew keeps coming up as a possible assistant at LC. That would be great, IMHO. Anyone else hearing anything about it.
