With respect to this baseball thread, I can't imagine anyone not ranking Ryle at least in the top 3 at the start of the season, so I don't think it's entirely off the wall that someone would have them ranked first. They are, after all, defending regional champs.

Brought him up for an AB in the regional and he struck out looking.

Beechwood didn't look good either game I saw last year, not even with their ace on the mound so I can't picture them as world beaters this year.

 

Pitching and defense win games, and Boone has neither. Top ten might be a little of an over reach now that tou mention it.

Shover was (is, actually) a good baseball player. I don't think this is a huge loss at all for CCH. A loss, to be certain, but they have solid middle infielders without him. It's certainly not like losing a top starting pitcher.

 

Heard CCH is now down to 13 juniors and seniors. Can that be correct?
