February 8, 200818 yr Barely missed Bush in '00. Voted for him in '04. Looking like McCain in '08. I'm fine with my one vote so far. While I don't agree with everything he has done...he is better than the alternative. I am in the same boat.

February 8, 200818 yr 2000 - Bush 2004 - Bush Of the candidates left in this election, I'd almost certainly vote for Mike Huckabee or Ron Paul in a general election. Of course, Paul has no chance at the nomination and Huckabee is a long shot to put it generously. More realistically, I won't vote for Hillary Clinton under any circumstances. However, should it be between McCain and Obama, I will likely take a real close look at things and hopefully get enough accurate information to make a decision I'm comfortable with. As of now, should it be McCain vs. Obama, I'd say I'm probably 55/45 leaning slightly toward McCain.

This time I will vote for the candidate that most closely aligns with my political ideologies. I was hoping for someone besides McCain but it isn't looking good. No way, will I vote for either of the democratic candidates.
