February 3, 200818 yr My world famous Beer Chili. :thumb: Might have some pate, wings, veggie tray, buckeyes and the ever present beer. :ylsuper: Have I ever been offered your world famous beer chili? The answer is no but I feel sure that will change the next time we're up...won't it??? we're having regular old chili and and sandwiches, chips, cookies, and whatever else we can find. We went to Kroger yesterday and you would have thought the world was coming to an end and everyone was trying to eat as much as they could before it was too late. Then today Wal-mart was horrible - plus I had a flat tire:madman: thank goodness MrRk put me on his triple A. I love the super bowl......................go Giants...:dancingpa

February 3, 200818 yr We are having a "Baked Bologna & Brown Sugar" roll for one item, chips and salsa and some boneless buffalo wings/strips. The Bologna roll is about a 4lb roll of bologna....brush with melted butter, spread the spicy/brown mustard on all sides, press/rub in brown sugar all over. Put roll in a 250 oven for around 5 hours, turning a few times to prevent the bottom from burning. Serve as sandwiches on "butter grilled" slice white bread or on club crakers and enjoy.

A upscale version of fried bologna...frying it takes the wild taste out....
February 4, 200818 yr I had planned on grilling out steaks and chicken for friends, as well as make some of my chip dip. But I got sick while in Richmond, so I'm staying home eating the only thing my stomach can handle: nothing. :irked: Me too! 101 fever and hating life right now. I have pigs in a blanket, cocktail shrimp, and artichoke dip, and haven't really touched any of it.
