January 29, 200818 yr If you saw the boom mic that many times, it was likely a ratio problem in the projection room at the theatre. Have heard about the movie, haven't gotten around to seeing it yet.

January 29, 200818 yr Never seen that one, but I'll throw another one out there....Cloverfield. Absolutely terrible. Thank you thank you thank you!!!!! Cloverfield is the worst movie I have ever seen in a movie theatre. Without a doubt.
January 29, 200818 yr Author Don't worry guys he is a Steeler fan I am sure it is not that bad;) :lol: :laugh: Yes I am a Steelers fan, but the movie was still bad. My date did not even like it, she thought it was boring too. Now there was some funny parts, but not many...

Have heard about the movie, haven't gotten around to seeing it yet. Well not knowing much about the movie business, I am not sure who messed up, but it was visible through out the movie. Several times you could even see the pole the holds the mic. I was so bored I started counting how many times it came in to the picture. :lol:

I was so bored I started counting how many times it came in to the picture. :lol: If you were at the Maysville movie theatre, not only do you get a crappy picture, you get crappy employees and service. It's one of the finer theatres I have ever been to. :lol: But yeah, a movie comes to the theatre in 4 or 5 reels or more. A projection person will load each reel in the film, has to make sure things are the right ratio, right reel etc, etc. My guess is you got the 19 year old trainee who didn't care that day. CONGRATS! :thumb:

Worst movie I ever saw in the theater was probably that horror a couple of years ago... Wolf Creek or something I think it was called, about a murderer in Australia. I mean, it was based off of a true story so that was kind of cool, but still, even I was heckling it by the end. Oh yeah, and I've seen Cloverfield. I didn't think I wasted my money. But I understand that style of filmmaking can drive some people nuts.

January 29, 200818 yr The worst movie ever has to be Freddy Got Fingered. My son was in from Alabama several years ago and we let him pick out the movie, It is the only time I have left in the middle of a movie.
