Don't see or rent this movie!!!!

The movie " Dan in real life" is horrible!!!

 

Not only does this movie's script suck, the editor must be half blind! I counted 11 times seeing the mic over top of the actors!

 

Dane cook and Steve Carell could not save this movie...

 

 

 

Has anyone seen this train wreck? :sleep:

I would disagree, it may not be the best movie ever, but it's not terrible either. My wife dragged me to the theater to see this and I was not expecting much, however, afterwards I was surprised that I enjoyed it as much as I did. Not the typical Steve Carrell / Dane Cook comedy but there were some rather funny parts. (Actually its more of a dramady) I've seen several movies that were a lot worse.

I agree on Cloverfield. If you want action and mayhem, see Cloverfield. If you want a movie that makes sense, see something else.

I disagree with you on Cloverfield. I thought it was VERY good for a monster movie. Those usually aren't good at all. I didn't mind the camera work either because I expected that going in, and that stuff doesn't bother me.

A couple of movies I've watched recently that I would reccomend you stay as far away from as possible are "The Contract" starring John Cusack and Morgan Freeman...WORST MOVIE EVER! Also, "Shoot Em' Up". I hated that sad excuse for a movie.

A part of me was thinking that too, but was hoping maybe it was more like the first couple "Scary Movies" than the more recent ones (Date Movie, etc.) For the record this assured me that I will not be renting The Comebacks.

It has dry humor in it, and I LOVE dry humor, I watched it during a confusing time in my life, so maybe thats why I liked it too
