Bishop Brossart vs LCA (All A Tourney)

Featured Replies

LCA has to face the defending champion Mustangs from Bishop Brossart. I believe LCA is the only school in the tournament that has a losing record. Do they have a chance against Brossart? Info or predictions?

LCA's losses are to LexCath, Dunbar, Clark County, Mason County, Barren County, Scott County, Lafayette, Tates Creek, LexCath again (by 12) and Montgomery. 9-10 is a bit deceiving; they've been through the wars. If they are healthy they more than stand a chance.

Both teams played Mason Co and I believe it was 33 and 35 point margins.

Which basically means these teams are likely going to play a VERY close, down to the wire game.

We know what we are going to get from Brossart when it comes to defense. If they hit a few shots early and get some easy points in transition they could win going away.

I believe the Mustangs are 9-1 when they score 60 points or more, the lone loss being 65-64 to St Pat. While it may seem obvious that any team hitting shots will win, this is especially true for Brossart.

GO MUSTANGS!!!!!!!!!! PLAY DEFENSE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

LCA has the strength of schedule in its favor. But, Brossart is playing outstanding basketball the last three games. I look for a close game with LCA pulling it out in the end. However, as I stated early when I picked St. Pat in the All A game my record stinks on picking winner.

how many did LCA lose to graduation from last year's team??

LCA has been without thier starting center all year. That has hurt them against the schedule they've played.

LCA presses the entire game. Brossart plays solid Man-to-Man. It will be interesting to see which style prevails.

LCA by 12.

two seniors. both of which contributed significantly. but they return 3 starters along with tons more experience that they lacked last year. LCA is the best team in the state with a losing record IMO. i think they pull this one out by 15.

They 30 plus point loss in the fifth/third can be a bit deceiving as well. along with their losses to scott and lexcath(the first time) LCA was within 8 at the end of the third. all of which ended up being blowouts. i say this just to point out Lexington Christian can play with the best

Does the shotwell kid for LCA get much playing time?
