January 28, 200818 yr Well I guess it's only fair that if we are going to have Kentucky threads regarding the end of the world or Final Four plans. We should do the same on Minnesota. Fact is, they have lost to 3 teams that are flat out better than them right now. Would have been nice to see them beat Michigan St or Indiana at home, just didn't happen. So of their 4 losses in the Big Ten, two have been to Michigan St, Indiana and now Ohio St. They still have two games with Wisconsin that they will likely lose. BUT they also play Illinois, Iowa and two against Northwestern. Still a good chance for them to finish near 500 in conference. So it basically might come down to them winning a game or two in the Big 10 tournament to get into the big dance. It's been mentioned before, this team only won 9 games this year and they are on their way to winning 20 this year. They may not beat any big teams this year, but they are beating the teams they are supposed to beat.

January 28, 200818 yr Now that they are playing tougher competition this doesn't surprise me. If they finish 7-9 in conference I'll be surprised. I would say 6-10 is more likely.
