January 20, 200818 yr It will be tough because of the changes, fundamentally, to UK's offense combined with the fact it will be the first game of the season for UK. If it were later, I would like our chances a lot more. I actually believe the things you mentioned favor UK (this year)... UK will know what they plan to do week 1, UL will not...

But we (UK) have basically our whole defense back that shut down that suppoesedly unstoppable air attack (Brohm, Urrutia, Douglas) To fix some things, U of L has CANTWELL at QB, Allen has transferred, and U of L had 366 yards passing and 2 td's against UK. January 21, 200818 yr I think it's going to be interesting, next year. Offensively, I think we'll be fine. We have Douglas Beaumont, we have Victor Anderson, we have some others that should be stepping in to fill some big shoes. I want to state this: I have every confidence in Coach K. I feel that he's been judged unfairly in his first season. Most people overlooked the hit to our Defense by graduation last year. Then, several career-ending injuries to defensive starters...how can you hold him accountable for that situation? Obviously, there was strife among the coaching staff. I feel that's been corrected...he has "his" guys now. All that said, I have every confidence in our team in '08. I can't wait for the season to start!

Both teams will be hit pretty hard by graduation, but i think it will be a pretty even game. Who will be UL's running back since Allen is transferring???
