January 18, 200818 yr Yeah even though that coach who assembled the roster would atleast always still get us there, and to one of the best 32 teams in the country every year. We can't say that about this year now can we... If the injuries would have resulted with Tubby, I am not sure that he would have gotten them there. Although he has proven at UM, he can do wonders.

Tubby left a roster that was definitely good enough to be a tournament team again, and probably atleast 2nd round again. He definitely didn't leave a roster that is going to struggle to make the NIT this year it looks like.

The roster he left had some quality perimeter players while admittingly missing post players. But RickyP was able to win with less talent.
