malachicrunch Posted January 12, 2008 Posted January 12, 2008 Tough loss for young Birds. McGraw sits out. Simpson leaves early in the 2nd half. 33 Zach Hurtt steps and keeps the Birds in the game. HC hits a 3 with 6 secs left to take one point lead. Birds may have considered fouling with a 2 point lead. Birds take timeout at halfcourt with 3.8 left, but don't get a good look. HC has some nice players. 50 and 33 were the leaders.
UNDERTHEBRIDGE Posted January 12, 2008 Posted January 12, 2008 This seems like a nice way for Henry Clay to come out after having lost Victor Moses for a month or more in their last game.

Lucky Charms Posted January 12, 2008 Posted January 12, 2008 Even though Highlands loses this game, they continue to impress me.

katbird Posted January 12, 2008 Posted January 12, 2008 I heard that Simpson probably broke his shooting hand....Not good.. He was in alot of pain when the trainer was looking at him...:cry::cry:
Saints09 Posted January 12, 2008 Posted January 12, 2008 Was the three with six seconds left made by Brandon Wilder?
Lucky Charms Posted January 12, 2008 Posted January 12, 2008 Were you there? Nope. I wish I was though.:thumb:

katbird Posted January 12, 2008 Posted January 12, 2008 If Simpson and McGraw play and are healthy HHS wins by 10-15 easy...
malachicrunch Posted January 12, 2008 Author Posted January 12, 2008 If Simpson and McGraw play and are healthy HHS wins by 10-15 easy... HC's best player is also out. So play with who ya got and let the chips fall where they may. If Willie fouls before they shoot a 3 maybe the Birds wins. Who knows?
