Saw a reference to movie sequels on another thread. Which movie gets your vote as the worst sequel of all time?

 

I'll go with Caddyshack II.

I will take the easy way out and just say ANY direct to dvd sequel is just awful.

 

I guess we can also answer and say which film would we like to see a sequel to that was never made.

 

I want to see another Twin Peaks movie that will tie up the loose ends that the 2nd season ended with. Alas, that likely is never going to happen. :cry:

I believe the story goes that Sandra Bullock was told she could get funding for her next movie if she agreed to do Speed 2. That movie she needed money for? Hope Floats.

 

If I remember correctly after everyone in the cast signed on for the Major League sequel, they were upset when Wesley Snipes decided not to return. Thankfully the studio got Omar Epps and according to what GT has told us, he recently got into coaching. :lol:

Pirates 2 & 3 were dismal hackneyed attempts to drag out a good thing.

 

Matrix Reloaded was almost tolerable, Revolutions was terrible.

 

The Star Wars PREQUELS, I don't need to go into more detail on this. It was discussed ad-nauseum last year by 2 determined parties. Take your pick on who you agree with.

If you hated part 2 and especially part 3. You should try and watch the several "made for cable movies" in the 90's starring Brian Bloom as the Bandit. You want to talk about absolute torture.
